Walk On By

USA Network Synopsis
On a rescue mission featuring one-year recruits, Nikita is surprised to learn that one of them, Jamey, is someone from her old neighborhood. However, Jamey's performance has been disappointing and his life in Section is hanging by a thread. Desperate to stay alive, he makes a deal with Nikita-if she keeps him out of abeyance, he'll lead her to her mother, who never believed that Nikita committed suicide in prison, and has been searching for her for years. Nikita reluctantly agrees to Jamey's deal, but soon realizes that if she and her mother meet, her mother will be eliminated by Section. Now, Nikita is forced to appeal to Michael to keep her mother alive.

My Synopsis
"Nikita discovers she is Superman's daughter and thus can only be killed with kryptonite." Ha, not really, but sort of! The actress who played Nikita's mother was Margot Kidder, Lois Lane in all the Superman movies. Also of note, remember Vizcano from "First Mission?" That was Janet Kidder, Margot's daughter, who played Nikita's mother in the flashbacks. Anyway, on to the story. Was this not one of the most boring episodes? The stuff with Walter was really cute and amusing and also sad. But the stuff with Nikita was yawn-worthy. It was nice what Michael did, and Nikita was right on target when she told him it was the nicest thing he'd ever done for her. But in terms of everything else (which is Ops and Maddy, of course!), it was pretty dull. Maddy was pretty manipulative, although if an operative said to me "So are we cool" I would've shot him on the spot. Her whole "That's a very pretty dress, did you get it in the city" line made me laugh. Beverly should've known something was up! (Beverly being the operative who pretended to be Walter's old love.) Ops was soft-hearted, saying he wouldn't cancel Walter because he owed him for Belinda. How sweet. Anyway, this was a really dull episode overall.
