USA Network Synopsis
Section sends a team to neutralize a possible Red Cell munitions outpost
in Scotland, but when they arrive, they find the place abandoned. Michael
and Nikita continue surveillance while Mowen, a Section op, takes samples
and heads back to Section. Shortly afterward, Mowen falls deathly ill
with a mysterious ailment. Operations realizes that the mission was a
trap, designed to release a contagious deadly virus, which is quickly
spreading through Section. Now, Michael and Nikita must choose between
finding the antibiotic and saving Section, or the possibility of their
own freedom.
My Synopsis
"A deadly virus infects Section, and Operations disregards his own well-
being to stay by Madeline's side." AWWWWWWWW! I LOVE this episode! Every
single part of it! (But the Ops/Maddy parts the best.) A note about USA's
dumb synopsis: when was running away ever an issue for Michael and Nikita?
Never! Anyway, back to the good stuff :) Operations totally freaks out
when he discovers that Madeline has been infected, and he shoots his way
out of containment, kicks in the glass, hurdles over dead bodies, hot wires
her door, and rushes to her side. AWWWWWW! Madeline tries to brush it
off, even goes so far as being deliberately funny (a big step for our Mads),
but in the end she sleeps in his arms and on his lap. AWWWWW! How can
you not think they love each other? The whole "We need those people. I
need you" line, the end scene where he looks soooooooo happy to see her.
Madeline, of course, maintains her composure, but she does give him a nice
smile (and you know she's thinking about how sweet he was, even though
she's indirectly chastising him)... I'll say it one more time. AWWWWWWW!
Other Intel
*When Michael and Nikita are examining their blood for any trace of the
virus, they are using a glucometer (the device diabetics use to check their
blood sugar). Oops!
