USA Network Synopsis
Because of a shortage of operatives, Nikita is promoted to team leader three years
ahead of schedule. She is now responsible for all aspects of a Section mission:
operative selection, planning, and successful execution. Her assignment is to
capture a dealer in spent nuclear fuel rods, but intel is sketchy, and the mission
is more dangerous than usual. To make matters worse, one of Nikita's team, Vizcano,
is unruly and disobedient. Nikita must find a way to control her, or run the risk
of failing the mission.
My Synopsis
"Operations has heart-to-heart chats with Michael and Nikita." Hmm. Well, this
episode was okay. No Madeline, so it could have been better, but lots of Ops.
He tends to be a little more three-dimensional this time. He talks to Michael
about Nikita and Nikita about Section. You really see his passion for his work
this time around. Nikita and Vizcano have an interesting talk about love, too.
This is also a really dark episode; there was practically no lighting. Birkoff
had cute hair. An interesting episode with some good dialogue but mostly boring.
So is Nikita a team leader now, or was it just temporary? And why wasn't Vizcano
more angry with Nikita for 'taking away' Michael? They should've done this one a
bit more like "Off Profile," I think.
Favorite Operations Quote
"It's no secret you tend to take your own approach to things. On some occasions,
it may even work. This is not one of them."
