USA Network Synopsis
Section One discovers that Helmut Volker, the rich playboy heir to the fortune
of one of Europe's largest arms manufacturers, has Red Cell operatives within
his party circle. Concerned that Red Cell may soon control access to an unlimited
supply of high-tech weaponry, Section One sends Michael and Nikita undercover at
Helmut's palatial estate, posing as heroin dealers. Helmut takes a fancy to
Nikita which quickly turns serious, and he asks her to marry him. Operations
decides that Helmut could prove valuable as a permanent source of information,
and he orders Nikita to accept Helmut's marriage proposal. But after risking his
life to deprogram Nikita, can Michael stand by and watch her marry someone else?
My Synopsis
"Nikita gets married and proves that it's okay to wear white fur to your wedding in Argentina."
Okay, this episode was kinda cool. Helmut (which, by the way, is the name of my stuffed animal,
a Swiss mountain dog, heehee) is very amusing, and even Michael returns to his season one state
of humor-on-missions. (For example, a girl at the party tells him that someone thought her dress
was tacky and wants to know his opinion. He replies, "It is.") This episode is a continuation
of the season four arc; Ops and Maddy discover that Nikita is no longer Gelmanized (darn!), so
they decide to marry her off to a Red Cell terrorist to get her out of the way. It had its
highlights; Michael doesn't get what he wants, Maddy looks smashing throughout... :) Of course,
Ops and Maddy are written as stupid. "Gee, do you think Michael would risk his life to prevent
Nikita's marriage?" DUH!! And this is the last episode of my favorite Maddy hairstyle :( Off
to the bun we go!
