USA Network Synopsis
Section One is breached by a toxic gas, which Birkoff successfully
contains at the last minute. However, when everyone begins to show
symptoms of a viral contagion, George sends a biotech team to 'evaluate'
Section, starting with department heads and top operatives. But Operations
and Madeline suspect something more sinister is afoot when each operative
leaves their evaluation process with their minds wiped clean. Now, it's
up to Michael and Birkoff to discover what's really going on and counteract
the process before everyone in Section shares the same fate.
My Synopsis
"Teamwork is vital to Section's survival as, one by one, a mysterious
'virus' erases the minds of operatives." This is one of my favorite
episodes. I loved every minute of it. Finally, a show where everyone
is back in season one status--working together! Yea! And Nikita was out
of it early, which added to the greatness, heheh. I loved the flashbacks,
showing what was important to each character, but some of them were really
odd. Yes, I'm sure the most important thing in Madeline's mind is the
fact that she can hotwire a car. *shakes head* Of course, Operations'
memories were right on target; his son and Madeline would be the most
important things to him. :) I'm glad Birkoff got to help save the day;
Seymour needs more airtime. (Of course, I changed the USA synopsis because
it said Nikita helped save the day--whatever!) I didn't include any
images from the flashbacks because those can be found elsewhere in the gallery.
Other Intel
*Madeline's flashbacks were from the episodes "Gambit" (Nikita telling her that
she's the strongest person she's ever met), "New Regime" (pulling out a gun and
telling the doctor that Operations will live), "Psychic Pilgrim" (confronting
her mother), and "Rescue" (hotwiring a car and receiving a compliment from Nikita).
Favorite Madeline Quote
"We went to war with the man. It's possible this is his retribution."
