Threshold of Pain

USA Network Synopsis
Nikita and two other operatives, Mark and Angela, are kidnapped by Black March, a brother/sister terrorist team known for their cruelty. When Angela is tortured, Mark-her boyfriend-breaks and reveals the location of a Section substation, but Angela is still killed. Back at Section after being rescued, Nikita knows Mark will be cancelled, so she gets him to lie about what happened on the mission to buy time for them to strike out on their own and eliminate the brother/sister team. When the plan fails, Mark accuses Nikita of being the one who broke under torture. Now, Nikita must survive a post-mission trial where all the evidence is stacked against her.

My Synopsis
"While Nikita's trying to be nice, the object of her compassion tries to have her killed." Well, it just goes to show you that being nice isn't always rewarding. I liked this episode actually. The terrorists were a bit freaky ('Intel suggests they're lovers. Other intel suggests they're brother and sister. They're probably both.'), and I found it odd that Adam Ant was playing the brother. I guess his talents go beyond music. (Several season three promo pics show Ant with several of the cast members; I don't know why.) If I had been Mark, I think I would want to die if my love had just been brutally killed in front of me, yet he has this amazing will to live. Whatever. However, I loved the scene between Maddy and Nikita, when Nikita gives her all these reasons as to why she should believe her, to which Maddy replies, "That's what Mark said." Ha! Take that, blondie! The trick Michael played on the bad guy at the end was pretty cool, heehee. But my favorite part was when Ops goes to give Walter a pat on the back. How funny! Then when it backfires, he mocks Maddy, heehee. Definitely an interesting episode. :)
