USA Network Synopsis
Section must stop a terrorist group from the Mideast, Bright Star, from
performing any more suicide bombings. Because these bombs are created
from land mines, Bright Star's whereabouts are difficult to trace. Nikita
is assigned to secure information from Formitz, who is responsible for
creating all of Bright Star's false documents. However, when Nikita learns
that Formitz is a serial killer, specializing in the brutal murder of
prostitutes, her desire for retribution may threaten the lives of many.
My Synopsis
"Nikita flips out and starts beating up a terrorist." Before we go on to the
actual plot, let's discuss poor Walter. Poor Walter! He finds the woman of
his dreams, Belinda. They wed and she dies in the same day. Turns out she
was in abeyance, a fact which Walter evidently didn't know. Then comes the
funny part (though it wasn't supposed to be funny): he finds out that
Belinda is dead and starts loading a gun, which he is planning on using to
shoot Ops 'right between the eyes!' lol! Of course, Nikita stops him, and
he begins to cry. *sniffle* It was quite sad. Then Ops shows up and
apologizes for Belinda's death, which I thought was strange. Firstly, how
did he know Walter got married? (Surveillance, probably, but why would he
care?) Secondly, why does he seem to feel guilty about it? I suppose I
would feel bad, too, if I had to send a colleague's spouse to her death,
but it just didn't seem like Ops to apologize for something like that. Then
it kept coming back throughout other episodes, where he felt he 'owed' Walter
for Belinda. Just confused me a little. Okay, now to the Nikita plot; how
funny! When she finds out her contact has been murdering prostitutes, she
beats him half to death. And I loved her at the end, how she was just as evasive
and dishonest as Michael. 'No, I don't know how Formitz was discovered.' Ha!
As for Maddy, well, she didn't get to do a whole lot. :(
