USA Network Synopsis
Nikita is assigned to evaluate Karyn, who is coming to the end of her
two-year training period. On a mission to capture a terrorist gone awry,
Karyn kills her trainer in cold blood, then lies about it. When Nikita
confronts her, Karyn confides that her trainer had repeatedly raped her.
This, coupled with the fact that everyone in Section One seems to like
Karyn, makes Nikita's decision all the more difficult. But Nikita's feelings
aren't good, and she tries to discover the real story about Karyn.
My Synopsis
"Ops and Maddy give Nikita the task of evaluating a new recruit, only
to laugh in her face at the end with 'ha ha, we didn't want your help
anyway.'" This episode didn't impress me too much, but it had some cute
TR moments. Can't say I was too fond of Maddy's hair this time around
(it looked flat or something), but Ops was particularly good looking :)
Madeline smiled at Karyn a lot, which was kinda funny (you could tell
she was a recruit; a seasoned operative would be looking over her
shoulder if Madeline kept smiling at her!). This episode, of course,
focused mostly on Nikita. There isn't really much else to say about it!
Other Intel
*Felicity Waterman, the actress who played Karyn, was the second choice
for the role of Nikita. Personally, I think Peta was a great idea!
