Paul sat his weapons pack on the munitions table and glanced around for Walter.
"Hey, Paul, how was the mission in the Ukraine?"
He leaned on the counter. "I met someone."
His eyes grew wide. "Really? What's she like?"
"She's...beautiful and intelligent and..." He sighed. "...beautiful..."
Walter grinned. "You already said that." He looked past him. "Who is that?"
Paul turned. "That's her!" He smiled at the approaching woman. "Hello, Madeline."
She gave him an uninterested gaze as she returned her gear. Eyeing Walter blankly, she walked away.
Walter frowned. "She's..."
"Beautiful?"
"Cold."
Paul grinned. "I love a challenge."
