This drabble is based on a true story, where the role of Madeline was played by my co-worker and the role of the jerk was played by a real-life jerk. Basically, the idea and the words are the same. I couldn't stop laughing, so I had to write it. Naturally, this is dedicated to her.

"I need to see Operations."

"I'm sorry, he doesn't meet with anyone until four o'clock."

"Perhaps I didn't make myself clear. I need to see Operations now."

"You'll have to wait. He doesn't like to be disturbed."

"Look, lady, I'm a very busy man, a very important man with a lot of social leverage." He glared at her. "Do you have any idea who I am?"

"Do you have any idea who I am?" He crossed his arms, challenging her. "I'm fucking Operations, so I obviously have more leverage than you do." Madeline smiled sweetly. "He'll see you after four."
